Museum Catharijneconvent - Museum voor Religieuze Kunst, Utrecht
From 1976 onwards the collections of the Bisschoppelijk Museum Haarlem and the Aartsbisschoppelijk Museum Utrecht are preserved in Het Catharijneconvent. Most of the liturgical manuscripts in Het Catharijneconvent form part of one of these two collections.
The museum is housed (as its name already shows) in the former Catharijne Convent van de Ridders van St Jan. It forms an architectonic unit with the Catharinakerk, the present cathedral.
