Gradual for Franciscans or Franciscan tertiaries, (mid ?) 16th century, probably from Brabant or Flanders (though Persoons states that is from Luik or Utrecht). Strewn borders in Ghent-Bruges style on fol. 1, with miniature; also on 16v, 27v, 121r, 142r, 149r, 150v, 177v; in the sanctorale: fol. 2r, 16v, 26r, 59r, 65r, 75r.

Square notation on red staves. Post-Tridentine corrections are indicated in several ways; skips are often indicated by skip signs in melisms.

The rubrics on Holy Friday (109v) mention Duo fratres ex parte ebdomadarii, Chorus ex parte ebdomadarii, etc.

The hymn Crux fidelis has a remark in Dutch to the strophe Gloria et honore: Dit versus moet altyts het laetste syn al sanghe men maer de helft van de hymne (114r). Other Dutch remarks: fol 138v; fol. 55v of the sanctorale.

Before fol. 55 of the sanctorale a leaf is inserted with the variant texts of intr. Gaudeamus.
