Patron of the Luik cathedral; patron of several churches in the Kempen (near Roosendaal and Wouw; see Woide, pp. 121-122).
An office for Lambertus is ascribed to bishop Stephanus of Luik, early 10th century; see AH 26, nr 79 (pp. 230-233). This office was well known in the Low Countries. See for this office among others:
