Liturgical fragments in the Abdij van Berne

The Abdij van Berne (at present in Heeswijk-Dinther, Noord-Brabant) possesses a collection of fragments of liturgical manuscripts from the 11th up to the 16th century. Most of them are from the Netherlands; some bear a mark of the Gregoriushuis in 's Hertogenbosch.

One of the fragments (LO 1) is of German origin; it has German neumes and the rubric secundum ordinem Bremensem. This one contains a Visitatio Sepulchri (type II).

The oldest of the fragments is LM 1, an 11th century missal fragment.

LO 11 is mentioned in CMD-NL (nr. 917a, pl. 961b).
