Fl. 7th century; founder and abbot of the abbey of St. Truiden.

Born ca 628; he studied at the episcopal school at Metz; died (probably) 23 November 693.
An office for Trudo is composed by abbot Thierry (texts) and prior Radulphus (music).
His office is preserved in Luik, UB, ms 12, and a part of it is found in a 14th-15th century fragment, used as a cover of St. Truiden, Kerkarchief O.L.V., nr. 103.
Some hymns and chants for Trudonis Translatio are preserved in Luik, UB, 24 (16th century).
A sequentia is on the front fly leaf of B-LVgbib Mechelen 5, rituale of St. Truiden.
