Antiphonale, opening with resp. Ecce dies veniunt (fol. 1r); (late ?) 15th century. Square notation. It is called 'Vesperale' but this term seems incorrect, as the manuscript contains all day hours, and only on high feasts (Christmas, Epiphany) also Matins. In this respect it resembles the antiphoners of the Broeders van het Gemene Leven (such as those of the Gregoriushuis in 's Hertogenbosch).
The penwork looks like penwork from Arnhem, compare ant. Iudea et iherusalem (in vig. Nativ.) with Kriezels, p. 131 and 135-136 (cat.nr 124).
fol. 92r: Plange quasi virgo, 5e modus. Na Stille Zaterdag komt het Sanctorale, beginnend met Andreas. Inzien van de originelen op het archief is mogelijk na voorafgaand overleg. |
