GB-LEICu 17

Graduale, diocese Münster, late 15th century. Hufnagelschrift on black staves.

The sequence Sancte paule merita has the rubric de sancto paulo si est patronus in commem.; the alleluia O consolatrix has extra texts O patriarcha francisce tuis precibus and O patriarcha anthoni tuis precibus, added by a second scribe. This may point towards an order or convent with special veneration for those saints. However, there is no sequence for Francis.

In the graduale the saints Magdelberta (166v), Leonardus (169r) and Willibrord (169r) are mentioned.

On fol. 129r ff. are two rhythmicized Creeds: Credo IV in rhythmical notation and another creed in Hufnagelschrift with red stems added to the Hufnagel neums.
