Hoorn: Nieuwlicht

Onze-Lieve-Vrouw-ten-Nieuwlicht, Augustinians in Blokker near Hoorn; Congregation of Windesheim. In 1568 its inhabitants fled to Enkhuizen; its buildings were destroyed in 1573 (Mon.Bat. II, p. 205).

Some fragments of antiphonals have survived (NL-Nb 5000 PA 1) as binding materials, with the remark Liber regularium monasterii beate marie nove lucis in blocker prope hoern in hollandia written on it. However, as the fragments are older than the monastery, they cannot have been written in or for Nieuwlicht.
