Office (notated in square notation) for John Evangelist (27 december), Johannes ante Portam Latinam, and two masses also. Written in Paris and donated to a confraternity, 16th century, but in the 18th century property of Gérard Lobet native de la ville de Mariembourg entre Meusse et Sembre (see titel page; in the back is the remark Gerard Lobet 1720.
The antiphons and responsories are all of general use; there is no local
repertory among them. Hymns:
27 dec: Johannem matri tradidit; Johannis laudes canimus;
Johannes grandis aquila.
Ante portam lat.: Tristes erant apostoli; Claro paschali gaudio.
Sequences for the masses: Gratulemur ad festinum; Clare sanctorum senatus.
Though this manuscript is recorded by Persoons, it has no special relationship with the Low Countries.
