Parish church, belonging to the Kölner Sprengel, known since 1204; ca 1269 a new church, dedicated to Laurentius, was built. In 1298 the parish was incorporated in the Abtei Prüm; from that moment the Benedictines took care of the parish.
An office for Chrysanthus & Daria (feast: 1 Dec., elsewhere 29 Nov.), perhaps written in the abbey of Prüm (Heckenbach, p. 8-9).
