Otger

Companion of Wiro and Plechelmus, first half 8th century. They founded the Petruskerk in St. Odiliënberg near Roermond, and all three of them were buried in St. Odiliënberg.

Relics of Otger have been transferred to Groningen. He is also patron saint of Stadlohn.

A responsory Celorum rex omnipotens tuam in sancto odgero confessore tuo (5th or 6th mode) is in NL-Au I B 50, processionale from Groningen, f. 158v (De s. Odgero).

An antiphon for Plechelmus, Wiro and Otger is in the NL-SODILpt Antiphoner s.n. of Monasterium S. Sepulcri.

An office is in a manuscript from Stadlohn from 1478 (Duizend jaar..., p. 158, referring to M. Willemsen, pp. 7-16).

Post-medieval chants are in the antiphoner of the Martinuskerk in Venlo.
