Hieron (Jeroen)

Jeroen (Hieron) van Noordwijk, martyr. His relics were kept in Egmond abbey. Feast day: 17 August. (acc. to Strubbe & Voet).

The sequentia Iungat laudes triumphanti in hac die viri tanti militans ecclesia (AH 55, nr. 358) is in NL-Hs 184 C 2.
