King and martyr, late 6th or early 7th century; father of Aldegundis of Drongen. His relics were kept in Drongen abbey near Gent.
An antiphon is known (LMLO BB-11; AH vol. 28, appendix).
The sequence Regi regum laus sit deo quem adivit cum tropheo rex basinus hodie (not in AH) is in F-Pn nal 1906, fol. 121r (not noted).
