Liturgical fragments of Leuven: CB

The Centrale Bibliotheek K.U. Leuven possesses some liturgical membra disjecta. Some of them were acquired in 1995: the 'Farde Aanwinsten 1995', a collection of ca 10-15 fragments from various dates and origins. One of these fragments bears a stamp of the premonstratensian Abdij van 't Park in Leuven.

One of the fragments of the 'Farde Aanwinsten 1995' belonged to an Antiphoner of the Paulusabdij, Utrecht.

Another fragment is part of a Graduale-Sequentiarium, 2nd half 12th century, and contains sequences for Joannes Baptista (Sancti baptisti christi) and for Adelbertus of Egmond (Concentu melodie), provided with music, written in notation of the Low Countries on staves (an early form of Hufnagelschrift), f-line red, c-line yellow.

Another fragment has an 11th century Lorraine notation.
