Belonged to the Mariakerk, Utrecht.
Hufnagelschrift on staves in black/brown ink.
Eastern chant dialect (comparable with NL-Uu 406.

The texts of the lamentations of the Triduum Sacrum are provided with some staffless neumes (first scribe; only at the ends of the phrases) that betray inflections of the lamentation tone that is well known from modern liturgical books. In the upper and lower margins a younger hand has added a different lamentation tone, probably a late medieval one, with a large ambitus, and reciting tones varying from c to c'.
