B-Br 15073 (cat.nr. 445)

Missale, 15th century, without notation. The priest's chants are provided with Hufnagelschrift (Utrecht type) on ink staves. According to Van Den Gheyn it probably belonged to the Minderbroedersklooster of Roermond. However, according to Moderne Devotie: Figuren ... (p. 261) it is from East-Netherland, and the calendar also points towards the diocese of Utrecht. Hence, it may have been written for the Plechelmuskerk in Oldenzaal.

Sequences (without notation) among others: f. 222r: Plechelmus (Laus ihesu christo cuius); f. 225r: Gereon e.a. (Maiestati sacrosancti); f. 228r: Hieronymus (Salve pater flos doctorum).

Literature

* Its sequences are discussed by Calvin Bower in TKVNM 53
