This website must be considered 'work in progress'. It is far from complete; besides, the pages are uneven in length and unbalanced in thoroughness; mistakes are inevitable and references to literature are often incomplete. The pages do not pretend to be complete, unless this is stated in the Post Scriptum at the bottom of each page, giving the date of last change, and sometimes how the information has been gathered. The website is useful as long as one is aware of these imperfections; it must be seen as no more than a path finder and as an addition to existing literature, which it cannot replace.

Work on this website started in September 1998, and goes
on continually. By now it may well be useful for some purposes, though
